For indoor camera:

Because the mini will change color under strong sunlight, there is no problem in the room without strong light.

This is a complex function to meet the needs of both mini size and night vision. It is currently impossible to integrate the hard infrared filter components of large cameras into the mini camera.

All mini cameras on the market have this problem.

Customer can try to change the installation location. If the installation location cannot be changed, we can issue refund. It is recommended that he buy a large camera to solve this problem in his scenario.

For birdhouse camera:

This is mainly due to the excessive amount of sunlight entering the bird's house. The more sunlight there is, the more likely the image is to turn purple. A slightly darker place will be better.   
The principle is that this mini camera is designed for bird house interiors, so it cannot filter out the "purple light" in sunlight. When the sunlight is weak or there is light from indoor light bulbs, the camera color is normal.  
When designing the camera, we consider that there should be no "lights" or "sounds" that interfere with the birds. Specially removed the IR cut accessory that emits sound (which filters purple light). Therefore, under strong sunlight, it tends to be purple, which is for the purpose of "protecting birds". We will also continuously improve our products and enhance camera performance in the later stage.
